Approve or Reject an Expense Report

If your role permits you to approve or reject expense reports, you can either search for the expense report(s) that are pending approval, or if you have a pending approval task, click the task hyperlink on the MyTasks section of the desktop.

Once the task expense report is open, complete the following steps to approve or reject it:

  1. Open the Workflow Status section of the Expense Report form.

    The Approval tasks display in the table on the Workflow Status screen.

  2. On the Workflow Status screen, refer to the Task column to locate expense reports that are pending approval.

    If you need to review the expenses prior to approving or rejecting the expense report, display the Claimed Expenses section of the Expense Report form. Learn more about fields on the Claimed Expenses screen.

  3. Select the check box next to the task and click Approveor Rejectas appropriate.

    If you reject the expense report, the Reject Task screen displays. Enter your reason for the rejection and click Reject.
